Fifty is Fabulous???!!!!!

I know most people do not agree with me but SUMMER IS HOT!! And not in a good way.  We just found out we will be opening soon for appointments only.  Great news but now I have to dress ‘normal’.  My yoga pants and baggy shirts are going to feel neglected (kind of like my couch when we were allowed to leave the house again.). 🛋🛋🧘‍♀️🧘‍♀️🥵🥵  Soooo. I have been looking for items that will “hold in” some of the things that are no longer where they should be.  THANK you all who gave me suggestions for sports bra’s by the way.  I have a couple ordered and I am trying a new one out that I found.  It was very comical to watch Scott’s face as people stopped me at the grocery store and at the golf course with suggestions on the best bra’s to buy.  🤪🤪🤪.  Guess we all know who DOESN’T read my blog.  🤬🤬🤔🤔🤔 Anywho...  Back to my ‘items’.   Found some great under garments (or big old underwear as we call them in these parts.).  Decided to try some different companies and here

What a year this has been.  Busy start, then complete shut down and now it’s “WHAT AM I SUPPOSE TO DO?”  Do we stay home? Do we go out?  Should I wear a mask?  Should I wear a body condom?  😖😖😖😖😖. HELP!! We have actually had “PLANS” since my last girls weekend.   Had some dentist appointments, friends from out of town came to stay, golf league outings and I went on a girls fishing trip to northern MN.   Guess our summer is as busy as it has been in the past. Here is what I have learned the past 2 weeks; - Masks are good when you are shopping and accidentally go down the wrong way in the aisle.  This time I did get reprimanded by an employee.  So being the mature adult, I stuck my tongue out at her underneath my mask and backed out of the aisle.   - Building a gazebo that states “will take 2 people 4 to 6 hours to assemble” is a total lie.  Took 2 trips to Menards, a trip to Fastenal, 3 men to move it into position and Scott and I at LEAST 12 hours of additional work.  I

Girls weekend is always fun especially when someone else plans it.  One of Chelsey’s besties planned a getaway this weekend and invited me and my girlfriends as well.  I am not going to lie, not sure why they wanted us old farts there but pretty sure it was for the entertainment factor. Getting ready for a weekend isn’t as easy as it used to be.  Not that I have ever been accused of being a light packer but as you get older you sure need more.  (Compression socks, arm braces, bite guard, eye mask, extra underwear......).  By the time the vehicle is loaded, I am a sweaty mess and need a nap. The rental place was `gorgeous and since I am Chelsey’s mom I HAVE to share the master suite with her.  Bummer.  😜😜😜. It sure was a hardship to have my own private room with a deck and bath suite.
